Inspirational Movies

Inspiration as in for one day or may be a few hours i guess. No movie could keep me inspired for more than a week. Some of those movies that make you feel like go-go do-do kinda movies only exist for extra sensitive or directionless folks. Or may be I am like some hard skinned stubborn oldie refusing to put effort anywhere beyond 10 steps. Few of those movies that could motivate me for a while are:

Erin Brockowich : The woman goes through divorce, has kids then she has to run errands, search for the job having no job experience for last child raising years. How she ends up in a law firm getting the right case to work on helping a lot of other people is amazing. She dresses differently, she talks brutally, she doesn't fit into the field but nonetheless she gets what she wants.

Seven Pounds : Will Smith has done fab job in the movie. At first, you wonder like whats happening in the story and then you are glued to it. At the end it affected me so much that i literally went and signed organ donation forms.

Pursuit Of Happyness : His wife leaves him, he wanders around with his child selling not in demand machines. And the tiny ray of hope that he just sees and going by his guts and hard work ultimately achieves the dream.

Ron Clark : The story of a teacher who signs up to teach a class with students from different backgrounds. They all have problems, financial family academically; he just doesn't give up and shapes their future.

Changeling : The mother loses her son and then starts searching for her. Her son returns but there are other things she must deal with and she does. Angelina Jolie plays the character really well.

Life Is Beautiful : At the end of the movie, you will say life is beautiful too. The man falls in love with the high class girl, they get married have a kid then they end up in nazi camps. How father remains optimist throughout the movie intelligently keeping his kid and wife alive is great.

The Family Man : Nicolas Cage sees two sides of life, either he could be successful or if he lived a separate life he could have the suburb poor life with kids. What does he want ultimately? What is more important to pursue is what its all about.

Click  : Adam Sandler has a wife, 2 kids and like most men he works a lot giving less attention to his family. One day he is given the remote of life. He goes on using it till he realizes he missed on the best moments and just ran around making money.

The Butterfly Effect : Ashton kutcher and his friends' lives are changed everytime he does time travel and one or the other person ends up being miserable. How our every action affects us and others is a wakeup call for us to think before deciding.

Braveheart : Who hasn't seen braveheart, Mel gibson a commoner's wife is killed brutally and he decides to fight against English rule and overthrows them.

Coach Carter : Coach Carter comes in and trains disciplines boys. He forces them to concentrate on academics too. Some of them got scholarships which was kinda great. Its like all it takes is a determined effort from a man to change several other lives.

Blind Side : Sandra Bullock is excellent in the movie. She gives home to homeless black guy, she helps him in the studies, she motivates him to join the game and it all falls into place when he gets to go the university. Its all so inspiring. Money might rot in our accounts forever but a few bucks of them can transform someone's else life.

Big Miracle : A whale family is in crisis and could die out there and become  food of locals. A reporter covers the news and then with the efforts of a lot of people alongwith an organization they are finally rescued. We all would rather sit at home and just condemn comment on the people who hit animals. Why not go out there and help some of the strays.

Soul Surfer : She has been surfing since she was a child. But one unfortunate day she loses her leg but spirit isn't lost. She goes back to surfing and keeps on winning competitions.

Hachiko : Story of a dog who waited for his master and died waiting for him at the station. The movie is a major tear-jerker. How is this inspirational, i don't know may be like for having a dog or just seeing how much a dog would do what human beings won't do for you. Its all unconditional love.

Beyond The Blackboard : Again the story of a teacher who was posted in an unconventional neighborhood, parents keep moving around, school's items keep getting stolen, she gets pregnant and inspite of all of this, she does her work and makes a difference.

Prayers For Bobby : This is a wholly different subject, how much difficult a mom could make it for her own son. She would rather have him dead than gay. Its sad to see what happens when people believe more in absent things. Whey not care for family more. The society would just not care if you didn't.

Son rise a miracle of love : Its a pretty old movie. They have a boy but he somehow stops reacting and won't talk. How they are constantly there for him and take care of him constantly is so motivating. Just because you had sex doesn't make you a parent. Its the most difficult job one could ever have. In india, everyone just pops them out for society or protection reasons, its so depressing at times. Children have no personality what so ever.

A Time To Kill : A lawyer fights for a black guy who shoots for the white guy who raped his young daughter. The society and jury are all from old times when there was racism at best. The decision taken was a breakthrough those times.
